Ultrasound

We finally had our ultrasound! The baby decided to have their legs crossed the whole time. So, the technician kept saying, "My guess is, its a girl." She never said she actually knew or that she was certain. She just kept saying my guess or my vote. It was driving me crazy. Well anyway, we will just have to take her word. So its a girl! Scott has finally felt her move too. She is getting pretty strong, sometimes you can see when she is kicking, that is if you are watching closely enough.

18 weeks

I am officially 18 weeks along (YAY!!). I figured it was time to start taking pictures since I was starting to show. I have to consciously make the decision to take pictures because if I don't prepare I wont take the pictures. So I decided it was time. We have also set the date for our ultrasound. It will be on October 20th. We are so excited!! It will be nice to finally know what we are having. I don't know how people can stand to not know whether the baby is a boy or girl. It is already driving me nuts. Scott's birthday is on October 22nd, so his birthday present is to find out what sex the baby is.

Grace

Just this past weekend Scott and I took my sister Crystal and her family up to Grace. Scott mostly wanted to go riding in the mountains around Grace with Crystal's husband Danny. So we went up to a meadow in the mountains that you can drive up to, and the boys went riding. Scott on his 4-wheeler and Danny on his motorcycle. So while the boys were riding Crystal and I cooked some hot dogs over the fire. Crystal's daughter Hallie didn't want to help cook hers, her son Carter would have gladly helped but, Mommy didn't want him near the fire. So of the 4 hot dogs Crystal cooked, she only ate one. Carter ate 2, only him and Danny got more than one, he must have been super hungry. Of course the wood we were using for the fire was dead fall from the surrounding woods. So even though Scott and Danny built up the fire before they left for their 2 hour ride, Crystal and I were fighting to keep it going. The wood was just so dry it burnt so fast. We had a lot of fun though. Scott was glad to have someone to ride with and I was glad I didn't get ditched so he could go riding.
